The Mentorship Program pairs seasoned industry veterans with young professionals who are early in their careers or looking to advance to the next level. Through one-on-one mentoring relationships, we aim to provide guidance, share knowledge, and build confidence. Our mentors are leaders and innovators in their fields, eager to give back and help shape the future of the industry.

For Mentees:

NYCAIWC offers networking meetings throughout the year featuring a variety of speakers and venues. Most of the suggestions for speakers and venues come from our members. We also partner with other well known New York City based insurance organization and law firms to offer panelist events and CLE educational opportunities.

How It Works:

Application Process:

Interested mentors and mentees can apply through our online portal.

Matching:

Based on your professional background, interests, and goals, we carefully pair mentors and mentees to ensure a productive and enriching experience.

Commitment:

Mentors and mentees commit to regular meetings over a period of six months, with the flexibility to extend if both parties wish to continue.

Support:

Our program coordinators provide ongoing support and resources to help you make the most of your mentorship experience.

Annual Kick-Off

Our annual September kick-off meeting is held at the Battery Gardens, overlooking the NYC Harbor and Statue of Liberty. This event is much anticipated and is always a well-attended networking event.
